Reading books also gives you crafting recepies, if you dont wanna read them entirely, just open them and if they have any recepies, they will automaticly be added to your recepies window for quick browsing and crafting. You generally shouldnt be buying random things to find out what they do, first find them in the world and try out different things with them, and once you know what you can use them for and if they are useful to you, then you can decide wether to buy them or not. If the skill does enough damage to break the armor and deal damage to health, it will apply the CC.Īs for the bartering, check every npcs inventory once real quick during dialogue (people that have good stuff often have "Merchant" written under them) and when they have some relevant things, place a map marker on their location like "Warfare skill vendor" etc. As for the abilities not working, try using low cooldown abilities that dont have any super important CC associated with them or just regular attacks to reduce the enemies armor to the point where your CC skills can break it. By dragging their portraits away from one another in the top left, you can controll and position them individually. My first advise would be, use the surroundings for your advantage by positioning your party in a way that doesnt allow them to be hit all at once by one AOE. It gets easier later on, but you still have some way to go untill then. Let me start out by saying this, the very beginning of the game is easily the hardest part, untill you got familiar with the mechanics and picked up a good set of skills, fights are quite challenging. Emotions cooking up, huh? Let me go trough the points you brought up and see if i can give any advise. But if you could give me a helping hand as to what im doing wrong in the game it would be much appreciated, cheers. Is this game worth carrying on with? Is the beginning really slow but then it just turns into the best game ever made? Now i have to reload and go somewhere else in this boring landscape where ill inevitably be killed again. If im not supposed to be fighting guys in the dungeon or migo or whatever the ♥♥♥♥ because im only level two, dont let me fight them you stupid game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Theese children are annoying the camera angle makes me want to carve my eyeballs out talking is extremley tedious but i feel compelled totalk to everyone lest i miss something and what is tis barter system, why can i trade with everyone that just means thart i have to check to barter with someone everys single time to know if they have stuff, but that doesnt even matter cause i dont know what any of this ♥♥♥♥ does anyway, what imabcile decided to make a crafting system in this game. Im in stuck in boring fort joy and i cant beat just one guy, without dying no abilities even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ work because of the stupid armour system. Its slow, not fun, poorly designed, tedious and boring. What? Why is this reccomended and considered one of the best PC games of its time.
